In June 2020, amid the height of the COVID-19 lockdown, saxophonist James Nightingale was invited to give a solo performance of five movements from Seven Wells … Seven Sins at the exclusive Sydney venue, Phoenix Central Park.

The pieces in this performance are transcriptions of the solo movements from a ballet I wrote in 2011 titled Seven Wells. They were created for James, who is the alto saxophonist with Australia’s premier saxophone quartet, Continuum Sax.
