Opus 20d: Telepus II

DATE OF COMPLETION: 2020 (Revised Edition)
DURATION: 5 minutes
MOVEMENTS: 1

ABOUT:
This composition is a reworking of the earlier work, Telepus I, which is the third piece in a trilogy inspired by J.S.Bach’s Italian Concerto. The third movement of the concerto was in the back of my mind while composing Telepus.

Telepus II was composed for the delightfully mercurial and energetic Australian bassoonist, Matthew Kneale.
