ABOUT:
Influx/Outflow is a set of variations that uses as its theme twelve versions or “variations” of a particular motif used in the intonation of the Torah (the first five books of the Hebrew scriptures). The work draws on the traditions of orchestral writing and redirects them in often unusual and thought provoking ways.
